Work on the last and final renovation of the castle of Saint-Pierre has been resumed for a few weeks now. In fact, the castle and the museum of natural sciences will reopen in 2021 and, unlike the past, they will remain open all year round.
Closed since 2008, until today the building has been renovated externally and equipped with an elevator similar to that of the Fort of Bard. The last part of the work concerns the internal flooring, the replacement of doors and windows, the plant engineering, the reconstruction of museum exhibits and, mostly, the restyling of the original frescoes inside the throne room.
